Mother and her 8 newborn puppies were found abandoned outside in the heat with no water or shelter.
Mom was left without food and water for a week and just gave birth today. She has recently had food and plenty of water and has cooled off. Puppies are nursing.
Mom doesn't seem to feel up to par and is having some diarrhea, So I will need to take her and 8 puppies to The Vet! Waiting to be seen at the vet. Mom is a little nervous. Ignoring the littles is a good sign.
Day 3: Mom and all 8 babies rescued from the south side of Houston are doing great. Ginger is a very attentive mom and the babies are putting on a little weight. Super good news is, mom and babies are getting set up to transport out of Texas to begin their new lives! Deep breath and what a Blessing!
Day 4: Mom is played out after eating lunch.
Day 5: 5 days old and all puppies are getting chunky.
Day 7: One week old today and starting to move a little more.
Mom is getting a break while washing the blankets. I found out Ginger also knows how to fetch a little and is waiting for me to take her out to potty instead of using the puppy pads
Day 9: Mom taking a break from her babies this afternoon!
Day 14: Getting bigger and moving a lot more. None have their eyes open yet. 5 males and 3 females. Mom always knows when it's time to go check the babies though. Mom trusts me but still crawls in front of me when I touch them.
Day 45: Ginger and her puppies are growing so fast. They are all ready travel to their new happy family. They deserve a happy life forever. Thanks God
